The Kharkai Barrage built over the Kharkai River near Ganjia village, Jharkhand, involved the construction of a wide barrage structure with piers & abutments designed to irrigate 15,000 hectares of agricultural land & supplying drinking water to the nearby villages. The scope also involved significant mechanical, electrical and associated works involving SCADA system.
