The 2.2 GWp Ar Rass 2 Project marks a significant milestone in Saudi Arabia鈥檚 renewable energy ambitions. Aligned with the Kingdom鈥檚 National Renewable Energy Program, this project is part of the Public Investment Fund鈥檚 (PIF) commitment to developing 70% of the country鈥檚 renewable energy by 2030.
Ar Rass 2 will power around 2,26,000 households annually with clean energy while reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 3.54 million tonnes of CO2 equivalent each year. Through innovative solar technologies and L&T鈥檚 focus on safety and quality, the project sets a benchmark for sustainable development in the region.
